Since the end of the 19th century we kept the craft tradition in honour and passed the craft to future generations of bedmakers. All Hälsing beds are partly finished by hand, with a sence of beautiful natural materials, something that only really good bedmakers can.

Here the highest quality and quality feel is central. The manual finish en the attention for every little detail are everywhere to be seen on a Hälsing bed: the well built bed base, the strong, precise seams of the fabric, the smooth stretch fabric at the top and the beautiful design create a bed for life.

About mattresses

The ergonomics of a mattress are important. The mattress shoulc form into the shapes of your body to provide the right support to make sure that your muscles and your spine relax in the correct position.

The Hälsing mattress consists of three layers: the core, the covering and the mattress cover. The core mostly consists of pocket springs, with different comfort zones so the mattress supports your body on all points.
Because the springs are individually wrapped in a cotton bag they can move independently of each other which creates a dynamic core that follows and supports the movement of the body optimally.
How soft or firm the mattress is depends on the number of springs, the thickness of the spring wires, the number of turns each spring has and the shape of the spring. The cover layer consists for example of natural latex. A special feature of this natural product is its excellent thermal and moisture regulating ability which makes the mattress always fresh and the makes it feel pleasant. Besides that the natural latex adepts to the contours of your body.

The removable Hälsing mattress cover ensures optimum ventilation and helps to sleep perfect and hygiene.
